Originally built in 1979 by the Sri Lankan Tissera family and thoughtfully expanded over the years to accommodate guests, Hideaway is now owned and managed by siblings Jan and Sharon Tissera. Both bring a wealth of international hospitality experience from the USA and Australia. Under Sharon’s creative leadership, the family’s philosophy continues to thrive, shaping the Hideaway ethos and reflected in the warmth and charisma of its dedicated staff.

A daily delivery of fresh fish and seafood is prepared under the superb supervision of Sharon and her skilled kitchen team.
