Born in Richmond, Virginia, Kim is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving 4 years of active duty and 4 additional years in the reserves.
Since living in the Myrtle Beach area over the past several years, Kim and her husband Jim have made Carolina Forest Community church their local church home.
