With over $5 billion in luxury cooperative, condominium, and townhouse sales, Cathy Franklin is a 30-year real estate veteran and one of Manhattan’s most accomplished and respected brokers. A consistent top performer, Cathy was ranked the No. 2 broker in New York City for 2022 by The Wall Street Journal and RealTrends, with more than $602 million sold or in contract that year alone. Recognized in the top half of the top 1% of agents nationwide, she has regularly appeared among the top ten brokers in NYC.
Her track record of excellence extends across decades. In 2021 and 2020, she led Corcoran’s East Side Sales Team of the Year, with sales exceeding $311 million in 2021 and $200 million in 2020. She was named Corcoran’s Overall Top Performance Sales Team of the Year in 2019, closing over $510 million in sales and earning the firm's Deal of the Year Award. In 2018 and 2017, Cathy maintained her position among the top-producing teams, and in both 2016 and 2015, she was honored as Corcoran’s Manhattan Salesperson of the Year. She is a longstanding member of Corcoran’s President’s Council, placing her within the top 0.25% of agents across Anywhere Real Estate, Corcoran’s parent company.

Her portfolio also includes multiple transactions in top new developments throughout Manhattan.

Cathy resides in a landmarked 1886 townhouse on the Upper East Side with her husband, Jeffrey Baker, and their three sons: Otto and Alex, both graduates of Trinity, Hotchkiss, and Harvard; and William, who attended Trinity, Poly Prep, and Wharton. The family shares their home with two Australian Shepherds, Spirit and Whiskey. Their townhouse and their 1806 Georgian farm estate in the Hudson Valley—home to Hillrock Estate Distillery, an award-winning field-to-glass artisanal whiskey brand—have been featured in Forbes, Food & Wine, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
